The Freedom Women’s Center is a faith-based, non-profit, residential discipleship/recovery program for women with life-controlling problems, including (but not limited to) drug and alcohol abuse. Our current population is 12+ women.
Our emergency services are available 365 days a year. They include Bilingual daily Bible services, Multiple Shelter locations for men and women, Nourishing meals twice a day, Daily showers, Modern, well-ventilated dorms, Clean change of clothing and more.

WHAT A YEAR!! As a former employee of mine used to say when we encountered adversity….. “challenges and opportunities, challenges and opportunities!!”. As always, the blessings outweigh the hardships.
We have several opportunities to join our team. We provide services to men and women at the Freedom Women’s Center, Pajaro Men’s Center and Pajaro Crisis Center. Teen Challenge Monterey Bay also partners with the Pajaro Rescue Mission to serve the homeless.
The purpose of Teen Challenge Monterey Bay, is to “evangelize people who have life-controlling problems and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society applying spiritually motivated biblical principles to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation and the community. Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.” The salvation of Jesus Christ is the main avenue to create true and lasting change in a person’s life. Teaching students about Christ and leading them to salvation is essential to the work of Teen Challenge.
